KCON LA, the largest K-Pop & Korean Culture Event outside of Asia, grew by leaps and bounds in 2016, spreading across the entire LA Live complex.
KCM Agency successfully launched two new programs at KCON, the beauty convention-esque KCON Beauty Block, featuring major beauty & cosmetic brands such as The FaceShop, Aritaum, NYX, and Memebox, and one of the most popular programs at 2016 KCON LA, the sold-out KCON Flower Boy Cafe, featuring cafe cast members in the popular 'Flower Boy' archetype as portrayed in Korean dramas and pop culture.
In addition to the execution and coordination of the KCON Beauty Block and KCON Flower Boy Cafe, KCM Agency continued to manage, for the second year in a row, the KCON Convention Stage which had three full days of programming, including performances by top Korean indie bands (Sultan of the Disco, Love x Stereo, Echae en Route), beauty demonstrations by celebrity make-up artists, the KBS World Kpop Festival Talent Competition, and acts by internet sensations Jun Curry Ahn and 1Million Dance Studio.
Lastly, KCM Agency designed and produced the KCON LA Executive Lounge at the LA Convention Center and the KCON LA VIP Lounge at Hyde Lounge (Staples Center) for CJ executives, artists, and special guests, as well as provided all the Official KCON LA Convention & Concert Photo and Video Coverage over the three-days of KCON LA.
